Ride and Event Calendar

Ride Guidelines:

Arrive early and prepared: alert, proper ride clothing, check bike condition, fuel tank full, tyres at correct pressure.
Riders ride within their own limits ("ride your own ride") and observe speed limits & other rules of the road.
Riders do not overtake the ride leader without permission.
Do not overtake anyone on the left (unless in a separately marked lane).
Tail End Charlie rides at a safe margin behind the slowest rider and indicates to each corner marker rider that they may continue with the ride.
At each turn, the 2nd rider (the one behind the Leader) pulls over and signals the corner - until the Tail End Charlie arrives.
Riders inform Tail End Charlie if they intend to leave the ride.
Visitors are welcome at Ulysses rides - please introduce yourself, and ask about our ride protocols.
New and inexperienced riders: please ask the ride leader to match you with a "buddy" for the ride.

8 - 15 March AGM Week Albany	Ulysses AGM 2010 - Albany. Ulysses Club, national AGM - Western Australia hosts the 2010 national AGM, in Albany. Please register before Friday 5th February 2010 - Click here for Registration Page (national login required). If you wish to ride down with other club members, use the forum to organise, or link up with, a group. People are leaving on various days in the lead up to the AGM so you should be able to find a bunch of others that have similar plans to yourself. Here is an existing thread you can use for that if you wish. Details at the AGM website (click).

28^th March Sunday 9 a.m. East Perth	Bouvard Winery - lunch at Lake Clifton. Lake Clifton: south of Mandurah. A shortish ride, staying in the coastal plain, with lunch by the lake. This ride is about 110 km, and mostly on roads near the coast to avoid the heat. The return trip is through Mandurah and up the Freeway; i.e. more direct and only about 100 km - so total riding for the day is about 210 km. Ride Leader Mark Dixon (ph: 0413 820 071)

Music Festival Ride: Ride to Fairbridge Villiage (near Pinjarra) for the annual music festival. Morning Tea and Lunch at Fairbridge Villiage. A short ride: 95 km each way. Click here for map.
