Thanks Lin and your bike guidance device ( aka Peter ) for a terrific ride today. The circuitious route through the eastern foothills was different and gave us the chance to see many roads we hadn't travelled before.
Walyunga park was a hidden gem for the morning tea stop. It was great to see Buzz "back in the swim" ( and on the bike again!)
The ride to Yanchep was very enjoyable and lunch seemed to be enjoyed by all.
It was a great turn out and the weather was very pleasant.
Thanks again!
P.S. Thanks to all the corner markers who made sure that TEC and her bike guidance device ( Lionel ) didn't get left behind!

| T'was a great day. It certainly put a smile back on my face.I only planned to do the 1st leg of the ride, to test how my back copes, & so far it feels good. Thanks to Brian for the loan of the kidney belt!. Thanks all, for a great ride. I have felt a bit guilty being in the club (having not ridden for 1 year), but today proved I can still manage for shorter rides, & certainly do have the right to belong to a riding club. Buzz,
Glad you still able to ride ok, but, you don't have to ride to be a member. When the day does come and you don't feel up to riding, I and many others would be REALLY disapointed if you didn't continue to be a member of the Perth Branch _________________ ==============================================

Thanks Bill for the great pictures, it was a lovely day out with nice company and both venues were very pleasant.
Thank you to my TEC Cheryl and her BGD (Lionel) you did an excellent job, even down to wearing pigtails to prove your suitability for your tail-endedness.
I am looking after my own BGD in an appropriate manner and will have it ready for use again. Next time it will be given a better preparation but today proved that even with basic preparation it performs very well.

Buzz,
So great to hear you are back on your bike.......
I myself have had to put my bike away because of ongoing health problems.
I've been sad about it, but you've given me hope for the future.
Can't wait to get back aboard my beloved Pocket Wog....Cheers _________________ 'All through my life, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child'---Marie Curie(1867-1934) |

Thank you my Dear,
For your words of encouragement.....and for giving me a focus for getting back aboard. I look forward to perhaps participating in the womens advanced riders course in April.....a brilliant idea by the way!! _________________ 'All through my life, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child'---Marie Curie(1867-1934) |
